WASHINGTON - The infamous "Access Hollywood" video of President Donald Trump saying he grabs women by their genitals is being played on a loop for 12 hours on a giant screen near the White House on Friday.
The “Rally to Grab Back” in Lafayette Park was put on by women’s advocacy group Ultraviolent as Friday marked the one-year anniversary of the video being made public.
In the 2005 tape, Trump talks with Billy Bush about unsuccessfully seeking an affair with another "Access Hollywood" employee, Nancy O'Dell. Trump said that when he was attracted to beautiful women "I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet." He said that when you're a star, women let you.
"Grab them by the p----. You can do anything," Trump added.
During his presidential campaign, Trump apologized for his comments and referred to them as “locker room talk.”
"The Access Hollywood video was a vulgar display of Trump's true colors. It was not so-called 'locker room talk,' it was a man bragging about sexually assaulting women," Shaunna Thomas, co-founder of UltraViolet, said in part of a written statement. "That man may now sit in the Oval Office, but we will not let him - or anyone else - forget the tape or those comments."
